After a lifetime spent chasing adventure, I set up camp in Scotland and Portugal, before finally settling in Italy’s little-known Friuli-Venezia Giulia region.

I am a storyteller by nature - and living in the picturesque city of Udine makes my job a whole lot easier.

I’ve championed the languid lifestyle of the region in my work for years, hoping to inspire those who come across my words and photography to travel away from the well-trodden tourist trail.

It is this penchant for slow living that pushed me to create Viaggio Magazine in 2020: a digital publication for curious travellers.
